Francesca was a special bride to work with. A friend, I got to work with her in person and she is just so sweet, beautiful and original. She chose a unique design, a one sleeved asymmetrical dress, composed of a knee length blush overdress, and a long, transparent skirt, worn under it.
The transparent skirt, the Nymphea with only two layers instead of four, created a very interesting light play, with the legs just barely showing though the sheer organza and chiffon layers.
At the waist she wore the Daisy lace sash, and for the ceremony she wore the Vitis sash/shawl. Bits of handcut lace were sprinkled here and there, organically climbing up the drapes.
I really love this soft, unstructured, flattering design, I hope to make one for my permanent collection soon!
