Lauren contacted me last year in the spring, she was getting married that September and she wanted me to make her dress.  We chatted a bit, to figure out what her dress would be and what we came up with was a customised version of the Tilia: it would have a nice extra flowing skirt, with a deep slit up the side.

It’s rustic, hemp bodice and lush ivory silk skirt were set off beautifully by the location: a barn in the countryside where they live!  The cats, the greenery, the Goldenrod, the chicken…. What’s there not to love… any couple that poses with their prize chickens and fluffy cats are A+ in my book.

Laren makes the most wonderful apothecary products, which you can find on her website! (I advise you follow her on Instagram too…… her furr-and-feather-full pictures are addicting!!)

These life exuding photos are by the talented Joanna Chattman …. I do have the best brides, and I am so grateful to get to see them in photo from time to time!
