Skarlett was my last bride in my Peveragno studio, before I moved to Reggio Emilia in August 2018.
She came to visit me in the atelier all the way from Germany, and she chose wedding separates so she could change up the look over the course of day. The bodice is the Ilex bustier, customised with a white sequin fabric instead of the usual shantung silk.
The skirt is the Nymphea in all it’s glory, with the Daisy sash at the waist.
We used the sequin silk fabric to make a boxy crop top as well, which she wore over the bustier, tucked in the skirt, and also alone with jeans for an evening of dancing.
Reading her happy words is just heartwarming!
Dear Lucia!
We finally got the pictures of our wedding and I wanted to share them with you. Also I wanted to thank you for making this wonderful dress. You are so talented, passionate and attentive, its been a pleasure to meet you. The trips to Italy with my sister and our meetings at your Atelier will always be a special memory of our wedding preparations. And the dress is beyond all expectations!
The pattern is simple but graceful, highlighted by the sequin top, which you chose exclusively for me. The Corset sits tight without slipping, still it allows any movement. I didn’t even need a bra and felt completely comfortable all day.
I instantly fell in love with the Nymphea skirt. The layers of silk, each of a different fabric and tone give a certain depth to the shape of the skirt and let it fall smooth and flowing.
I’m so happy and cannot thank you enough!
