This essential silk gown is perfect for those who wish to feel comfortable and at ease on their wedding day, the attention here is on the cut and the fabric quality, rather then embellishments.

The dress delicately skims the body and frames the face, and is accented at the waistline with two sheer silk ties that chinch the dress and tie in a bow in the center back.

Alternatively, you may cross them in back, and then tie them in front, creating a lovely little bow draping down the side-front. It also looks great with a sash accenting the waistline, it is pictured with the Daisy lace sash in a few of the photos (not included).

It is composed of three layers: the bottom layers are stitched as one, and are a pure silk crepe de chine, while the top layer is sheer ivory silk, of the highest quality and as delicate as a petal.
The sleeves are cut so they frame the shoulder, with a light delicate petal effect.

The hems of the top layer are stitched with a beautiful, clean rolled hem. It has the effect of a thin corded line, neat and defined, running along the edge of the impalpable silk fabric. The bottom layers are stitched together in order to create a clean, hem-less effect. At the bottom, all three layers have the rolled hem.
The top layer has a light train, which can be bustled up by slipping the ties through a little hidden loop on the tip of the train, the effect from the back is beautiful. I can also make it without a train entirely, or with a very very short one, for equally beautiful effects.

Great care in cut, fabric choice and detail is placed during the creation of this design, so while being a simple, minimal gown, it will feel and look luxurious and special in any size.

It also looks beautiful paired with the Wallflower lace overlay.

Dry clean only. Iron with a lot of steam and on a medium setting. Please test on an inner part of the garment.
