Skarlett’s sequinned dress
Share
Skarlett was my last bride in my Peveragno studio, before I moved to Reggio Emilia in August 2018.
She came to visit me in the atelier all the way from Germany, and she chose wedding separates so she could change up the look over the course of day. The bodice is the Ilex bustier, customised with a white sequin fabric instead of the usual shantung silk. The skirt is the Nymphea in all it’s glory, with the Daisy sash at the waist.
We used the sequin silk fabric to make a boxy crop top as well, which she wore over the bustier, tucked in the skirt, and also alone with jeans for an evening of dancing.
