Not everyone can travel to my atelier in Reggio Emilia, but distance has never been a problem for me.
Creating a made-to-measure wedding dress without physical fittings might seem impossible. Yet for almost 20 years, I've been developing designs and techniques that allow me to work across distances, with a flawless fit always at the heart of the process.
If you're dreaming of a dress designed and made especially for you, it all starts with an in-depth conversation. I'll listen, ask questions, and guide you through the creative process.
Once we've settled on a design, I'll show you how to take a few body photographs and detailed measurements from the comfort of your home. These allow me to study your proportions and construct a dress specifically for your body.
Even without in-person fittings, my dresses usually require no alterations once they arrive.
We'll stay in close contact throughout, refining details and making decisions together.

• WHAT HAPPENS DURING AN APPOINTMENT?
Mainly, we try on dresses! I have a large collection of samples in different styles, sizes, and colors.
Increasingly, my samples are conceived as puzzle pieces, allowing us to mix and match different elements and see how our ideas might actually look on your body.
I won't settle for the first thing you like and call it a day. I want to explore your tastes in every direction, often suggesting shapes, colors, or combinations that might seem quite the opposite of what you thought you wanted.
Every reaction is useful, even when you don't like something. It's all part of discovering what really feels right for you.
Perhaps you'll end up choosing that very first dress you fell in love with. But I want you to feel confident that you've explored the possibilities before making your choice.
• HOW LONG DOES AN APPOINTMENT LAST?
Expect your first fitting to last between 2 and 3 hours. This first meeting is essential for me to understand your needs, your tastes, and what you wish to express through your dress. I like to give this exploration all the time and undivided attention it deserves, without rushing.
• HOW SHOULD I PREPARE, AND WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
There's no single right way to prepare, because we're all different.One thing I find particularly useful is gathering a few images of things that catch your eye. It could be an entire dress, an unusual silhouette, a fabric, a color, or just a tiny detail.
Feel free to include designs of mine as well as creations by completely different designers. Nothing has to match or make sense together.
These images help me understand your taste and the things you're drawn to, so I can make more interesting and relevant suggestions during our fitting.
On the practical side, if possible, bring nude underwear, a good strapless bra (or a few different bras if you're undecided), and a pair of heels if you're planning to wear them at your wedding.
Most brides try on dresses barefoot, though, so that's entirely up to you.
• CAN I BRING SOMEONE WITH ME?
Yes absolutely, my fitting room space holds up to 3 guests comfortably, plus you. If your group is larger, let me know so I can prepare adequate sitting.
• HOW MUCH DO YOUR WEDDING DRESSES COST?
Everything I sell is custom made, so you can use my online shop is a price guide of sorts. There is no "made to measure" fee or "custom design" fee.
Complete bridal looks start at around €2,000 and can reach €7,000 for particularly elaborate designs, especially those involving extensive color work.
Most of my dresses fall between €3,000 and €5,000.
If I know your ideal budget, I can guide you towards fabrics, designs, and details that help us stay as close as possible to the price range you're comfortable with.
• HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I GET IN TOUCH?
The main concern with a last-minute request is that I might already be fully booked for the season: 9 to 12 months usually guarantee you that the dress will be doable.
But it really depends on several things: the time of year, the complexity of the dress you'd like to create, and my current schedule.
So my advice is simple: get in touch anyway, even if your wedding is only a few weeks away. We can see together what's possible.
• HOW CAN I KNOW WHAT MY DRESS WILL LOOK LIKE IF IT'S MADE TO MEASURE?
During your fitting, you'll see ideas take shape in a very tangible and realistic way.
My extensive sample collection includes both finished dresses in different sizes and modular pieces that we can combine to explore all kinds of possibilities: adding sleeves, changing a neckline, the fabric, trying the same skirt with more or less volume and different layers, or introducing color.
You won't have to rely on imagination alone: you'll be able to see the effect of each change directly on your body, discovering what you like and, most importantly, why. Your final dress will then be made to your individual measurements, enhancing your figure even further.
This approach allows us to experiment freely, reducing uncertainty and helping you develop a deeper understanding of the choices you're making.And even if you ultimately discover that your dream dress lies elsewhere, you'll leave the fitting with a clearer understanding of what you're truly looking for.
• WHERE IS YOUR ATELIER LOCATED?
It's right in the historic center of Reggio Emilia, Italy, inside a beautiful 17th-century building with antique hand-painted ceilings and original architectural details.
Reggio Emilia is nestled between Milan, Florence, Bologna and Parma, is easily accessible by car, or by high-speed train.
