I am dedicated to crafting unique wedding dresses for women all over the world. From Italy to every corner of the globe
Each piece is designed and made in my atelier in Reggio Emilia, Italy, a region renowned for its rich craftsmanship and textile heritage. I believe in mindful consumption and the importance of thoughtful design.
My goal is to create timeless, modern silhouettes using high-quality, sustainable materials that stand the test of time. Every detail matters to me, reflecting my commitment to authenticity and excellence throughout the entire creation process. I take immense pride in the 'Made in Italy' label, ensuring that each garment embodies the artistry and passion that Italy is known for.
I care about the process as much as the end result.

Chasing my passion and making things by hand is just a MUST for me
I truly love craftsmanship, creativity, and beauty. My customers are central to my mission; it is the individuals I dress and their distinctive personalities that inspire my creative journey. My passion for textiles and the natural world shapes my artistic process.
I focus on how different elements can come together, crafting garments that are not only unique but also meaningful to you. Technology allows me to connect with customers around the globe, nurturing close, personal relationships no matter where you are. The digital space has been crucial to my growth and identity.
Since 2007, I have been designing bespoke garments. I have engaged with and dressed thousands of women, always striving to create a personalized design and a genuine human connection.
My workspace plays a crucial role in my process not only for me but also for my clients who visit. After moving through various cities, I am now delighted to call Reggio Emilia my home. It is here that I have the honor of creating handmade pieces just for you.

ABOUT
How did you get started in fashion design?
I started sewing at 18 years old, directly with the raw materials: cloth, scissors, and a sewing machine. I cut and draped textiles intuitively, following the folds and textures as I taught myself to shape and sew. The pleasure the fabric gave me as it flowed between my fingers, magically transforming into a fully finished wearable product, enthralled me and still holds me captive to this day. There’s a unique joy in watching an idea evolve from a simple piece of fabric into something beautiful and personal. Each project is not just craftsmanship; it’s an expression of creativity and individuality that continues to inspire me in my design journey.
What was the inspiration behind starting Larimeloom?
I founded Larimeloom in 2007 when I was just twenty years old. It was an opportunity to embrace a manual and creative vocation that had always driven me. With my mother’s Singer sewing machine, an ever-growing collection of fabrics, and a love for a good challenge, I set out to create a business that allowed me to do what I love for a living. Throughout my journey, I have always remained committed to that passion, ensuring it remains at the heart of everything we create.
What kept you going?
Once I started, I simply couldn't stop. The hours I spent discovering the ins and outs of sewing and custom tailoring, the sheer number of garments I created, and the thrill of noticing problems and finding solutions all led me to improve quickly. With those growing technical skills, I was able to translate my ideas into dresses that became more and more refined in both design and tailoring.

The Philosophy Behind the Design of My Dresses
At my core, I believe in sustainable, ethical, and slow fashion, where the quality of my products and the human connections they foster are paramount. I am deeply committed to using high-quality, sustainable, and durable natural materials. Functionality and timelessness are my priorities as I create designs that resist the fast-paced rhythms of the fashion industry, featuring original cuts and a minimalist aesthetic inspired by the pure and harmonious lines of nature.
My garments are thoughtfully designed around individual needs, resulting in natural, comfortable pieces that feel like a second skin. I offer a bridal experience dedicated to comfort and authenticity, providing a welcoming space for you to express yourself and unleash your creativity in shaping your bridal look. Regardless of how you feel about wedding shopping, I create a stress-free, judgment-free environment where you can feel at ease.
I exist to serve lgbtq+ brides, brides of color, and brides of all shapes, sizes, appearances, and abilities, ensuring that my space is safe and inclusive for everyone. I embrace a zero-waste philosophy, developing designs that maximize every inch of fabric with minimal waste. The small offcuts are carefully selected and organized to be transformed into unique designs that showcase the unexpected beauty that can arise from surplus materials. The result is one-of-a-kind pieces that embody both functionality and artistry. Through this process, I celebrate creativity while minimizing waste, ensuring that every scrap has a purpose.
My fabrics are hand-dyed and hand-painted in-house using non-toxic pigments and natural dye techniques, providing brides with an additional tool for self-expression. My design and fabric choices enable each dress to be transformed into a colorful, everyday garment after the wedding, extending its lifecycle and allowing it to evolve alongside you.

Unique Handmade Dresses
A custom-made garment has a character and a personality that no industrially manufactured dress will be able to achieve.
The perfect fit, the careful construction visible in each seam, the unique way in which each piece finds its definitive shape based on the client’s body and taste, become a guarantee of the individuality of the dress itself, a magical combination of the designers intentions and the clients imagination.
I create each piece by hand, ensuring unique craftsmanship and quality, with care and attention at every stage of production. This highly individualized production process leaves room for almost unlimited customization, so specific ideas and requests can seamlessly be integrated into the creative process.

Natural & Sustainable Materials
There is nothing more pleasant to the touch than a natural fabric, and nothing more exciting for me to work with. For this reason, I select the highest quality materials made from natural fibers such as silk, hemp, wool, bamboo, linen, and cotton, all of which are 100% biodegradable.
The quality and aesthetic value of the fabric itself are essential in my design process. The type of material, its textures, and shades are the first elements I focus on. I revel in the unexpected contrasts, like the strength of a hemp bodice paired with the purity of sheer silk, or precious, delicate lace combined with a raw hemline.
My commitment to environmental, social, and ethical sustainability is integral to my brand. All my practices are driven by a "Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle" philosophy, beginning with my approach to fabrics. I consciously purchase materials, acquiring only what I need in a single color: unbleached white. Each hue, ranging from neutral ivory to the full spectrum of colors, is hand-dyed for every project.
My designs maximize every inch of fabric with minimal waste. The small offcuts I select and organize are transformed into unique, original designs that showcase the unexpected beauty that can arise from surplus materials, ensuring that every scrap has a purpose.

Hand Dyed and Colors
I approach fabric as an artist approaches a blank canvas. I purchase all my fabrics in natural, unbleached white (commonly called off-white). All tones are hand-dyed in my studio using natural dyes and non-toxic fiber-reactive pigments, with vinegar as a fixative element.
My signature natural ivory tones are dyed with black tea leaves, one layer at a time, one dress at a time. I use purple cabbage for a dusty blue, onion skins or goldenrod flowers for a vibrant yellow. For warm brown, I rely on chestnuts, while black-eyed Susan flowers give me a marshy green, and poppy petals yield a delicate lavender color. I also use cochineal for shades of pink, lilac, blush, and fuchsia.
Various techniques are employed to achieve a multitude of different color effects, which can involve a single small part of the gown or the entire dress, resulting in a kaleidoscopic infusion of artistic expression.
